Well tomorrow I'll start up an attack on the monthly competition, losing the lock today hurt my chances of winning this week, although I was 4-3 on locks last week and won weekly. Anyway, onto the lock.
Which team will win the Artisitic Team gold medal?
US vs AOC
In the last major Artisitic competition, the Artisitic world championships in 2011, the US won gold over the Russians by 4.082 points. Now I'm not positive how much of a blowout that is, but in a sport where the scores go to the thousandths place, 4 points seems like a lot. The only change from that team that won in 2011 is Kyla Ross will be replacing Sabrina Vega. While I don't know much about this change, I certainly don't think it will cost the US 4 points. I do feel a little shaky about locking a sport where judges determine the outcome, not the players themselves, but I'll still lock the US.
